Kimberly A. Whitworth is an attorney with a successful real estate and small business law practice located in Medford, Massachusetts.  She holds degrees from Harvard and Suffolk University, and has sat on a number of charitable boards in the past.  

Recently, Ms. Whitworth lent her legal skills to the founding of Esperanza Academy, a Nativity Model School for disadvantaged young girls in Lawrence, Massachusetts, which just celebrated its opening in September, 2006.   

Ms. Whitworth is thrilled to be part of the Eastern United States Dancesport Executive Committee, and has enjoyed dancing since she was a girl when she took ballet, jazz and tap lessons.  During her college years, Ms. Whitworth took part in modern dance performances and enjoyed attending balls, called Ceilidhs, where she learned the traditional Scottish Country Dances during her year at the University of Edinburgh. 

Ms. Whitworth now competes in international style ballroom pro/am competitions throughout the Northeast and was the 2006 runner up in the New England Dancesport Championships.  As a member of The Eastern Executive Committee, Ms. Whitworth hopes that the competition and performances will bring great joy to both participants and spectators, alike.
