Ms. Darling attended several social dance classes at various dance studios and then danced on a ballroom formation team, performing with the team at several area events.
During the next fifteen years, Ms. Darling focused on her education and career, earning a degree in Psychology and certificates in Paralegal Studies, Computer Troubleshooting & Repair, and Software Technical Writing. She also completed courses in Web Design and Project Management. Between work and school Ms. Darling explored other styles of dancing, including ballet and country two-step.
Ms. Darling rediscovered ballroom dance when she joined a college ballroom dance team. In her first college competition, she was a finalist in Foxtrot. The thrill of that competition was so exciting that she began attending many group classes and taking private lessons to prepare for NDCA competitions. Ms. Darling enjoys success as she competes, and brings enthusiasm and joy to her dancing.
Ms. Darling is a Paralegal with previous experience in owning a small business, and is pleased to bring her database skills, organizational ability, and expertise in bookkeeping and office administration to the Eastern United States DanceSport Championships.
