The Eastern United States Dancesport Championships
at the Park Plaza Hotel & Towers in Boston, MA
February 19-22, 2009
The Eastern United States Dancesport Championships will offer one of the most elegant venues for ballroom dance competition in the country, with an anticipated 3,000+ participants. Co-Organizers, Mark Nocera, Dawna Nocera and Bill Morganti will host the Eastern United States Dancesport Championships annually in the Boston area.
The Eastern will be held at the prestigious Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, located in Boston's beautiful Back Bay. The Park Plaza is a perfect setting for The Eastern as it is offers convenient access to Boston’s fine restaurants and a venue rich in historic and cultural attractions. The Park Plaza Hotel provides abundant room availability for contestants and spectators, spacious and beautifully appointed areas for vendors and sponsors, and has over 13,000 square feet of elegant space in the Imperial Ballroom for our competition events. The Eastern team is working diligently with the Park Plaza Hotel to establish the Eastern United States Dancesport Championships as one of the premier, annual ballroom dance championships in the country.

The Eastern offers our competitors:
- Professional Championships, Professional Rising Star Championships, 10-Dance Professional Champioships, 9-Dance Professional Championships, Basic Latin and Basic Standard
- Amateur, Youth, Pre-teen, Junior and Collegiate Championships and competitions
- Pro/Am Competitions, Scholarship Championships, World Pro/Am DanceSport Championships
- The title of The Eastern United States Dancesport Champion
- Friday & Saturday Evening Professional Competition
- A prize money purse to exceed $90,000
